The wild sex romps of four twenty-somethings in the 1970’s when love was free, political correctness had not yet been invented, and women were struggling to assert themselves (in the bedroom according to Bernie).

Sexual Perversity in Chicago is a down and dirty, fast-paced, witty comedy by Pulitzer prize-winning (for “Glengarry Glenn Ross” 1984) author David Mamet.
Danny and Bernie work together.  Bernie regales Danny with stories of his wild sex life. Danny is not quite sure about the sexual accessibility of a flak suit ringing true, but it certainly makes the filing jobs pass more quickly.
Joan and Deborah live together. Deborah, who admits to “lesbianic tendencies” is under the possessive spell of her flatmate, a kindergarten teacher who claims that men are all after only one thing.
When Danny and Deborah get together and Bernie tries to pick up Joan in a bar things begin to get complicated...

This play is for women who want to know what men really think about sex, and for men who want to know what women really think about sex.  The only problem is - neither gender may like the answer.....
All four characters are trying to make sense of their lives in a world where loss is always possible, relationships are a minefield and where “everything’s fine - sex, talk, life, everything. Until you want to get closer, to get better”
